When I save CDs to my hard drive my encoder default setting is mp3PRO at 80kBit, 44100 hz, stereo, constant bit rate. Should I change these settings? There are dozens of options (Nero). My mp3 player is Nex IIe. I also burn alot of mixed CDs, but the program converts back to .wav for the CDs so I'm thinking this is less of an issue. Any input would be helpful. I know very little on this subject and everything I have read is completely over my head. Keep it simple if possible.

If you're going to convert them back into wavs later on for use in mixed music CDs, I also recommend using mpc format (with a nice bitrate of course). That way you won't lose too much quality and won't have to re-rip the songs from the various CD's
