Hello I was wondering if it was better to use 1/4 mono to rca adapter with some monster rca interconnnect or just a cheap 1/4 mono to rca cable?
I ' m not sure if using the adapter would make the monster rca interconnect worse than the cheap 1/4 to rca cable to connect on the 1212m.

Monster cables are not exactly known for being economical. Personally, I use gold plated 1/4"->mono RCA adapters purchased for $4 at my local Radio Shack, and a Radio Shack Gold Series stereo RCA cable purchased from the same store. I'm quite happy with this setup.

Alternately, Headphile makes some cables specifically for use with the E-MU cards. Check out the CPU/E-Mu 0404 link on the left side of the page.

I use the gold plated 1/4" -> RCA adapters from Radio shack too on my Zu Oxyfuels, there is no sound quality loss with the adapters.

The headphiles cables are a bit too expensive for me 70 $ for 1.5 m.
