It shows on the DAC's display that the signal is received but no music comes out. I have tried Toslink, spdif, three different DACs, laptop, desktop computer, WindowsXP, Windows Vista. I have tried different settings of EMU.
Analog output works but digital output has no sound coming out, maybe it is muted?
When I bought the EMU it automatically updated the firmware, maybe the problem is firmware? I tried updating the firmware a few times but it didn't help. Can I install back the old firmware to see if it works? Where will I find the old firmware?
Do I need to send the EMU for repairs? I would like to open it up myself if it's a simple fix, (I don't want to spend money on shipping).
