As the title implies, I'm in Canada and would like to buy an EMU sound card, either the 0404 or 1212. At this moment, I think I prefer the 0404 since I only want to use one slot instead of two.

Don't let slot issues drive you away from the better sound quality of the 1212m.

As for where to buy it... i got mine from Zemo when he offered his group buy, I'd check e-mu page for dealers in canada, and contact any near you, otherwise just order it online from the US.

Since you are in Van, goto long and mcquade. Tom Lee doesn't have them and Annex Pro could bring them in, but they don't seem to be doing so anytime soon.. Annex deals with Pro Tools stuff mostly
