How much space do the Emu's drivers occupy on the HD and RAM? Can the drivers be selected to install on their own(without demo programs etc..)? I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

Yeah, you can install just the driver.

I'm not sure how big it is, but it's not that large, i'm pretty sure.

My creative professional directory is about 70 MB, and there may be more in the windows directory but i'm not sure, I doubt it would be much more. That is with the bare minimum of just the drivers and patchmix dsp installed. So yes you don't have to install those other program demos that it comes with, it should ask you at some point in the install if you want to do a typical or custom install, just do custom and unselect everything except the driver and patchmix dsp.
