Hey guys, I've had the 1212m for a while now but just noticed that the 1212m is not capable of playing DVDs that do not have the option of stereo surround sound. Up until this point I hadn't really noticed it since the DVDs I was playing were 2.0 compatible but recently I watched some DVDs that were only encoded in 5.1 and then I noticed that I was only getting the two front channels so ambient music was loud but dialog was lost. My question is, are there any plug-in decoders that will allow me to down-mix that 5.1 signal to 2 channel with the 1212m or will I have to purchase a new card? If I have to purchase a new card, what would you recommend that performs on par with the 1212m for music but had the capability of decoding 5.1? Thanks!

If you use PowerDVD to watch movies it will downmix 5.1 to two channel for you. That's what I use on EMU 0404 USB.
