EMU 0404 USB: Line out or Headphone out?

EMU 0404 USB has 2 line outs. Mini stereo jack or L/R balanced. If you use L/R balanced without a balanced inputs in the amp then you need to buy TRS adapteers from Radioshack. I have used both on mine and notice no dif in SQ so go with whatever is easiest for you. Never used headphone out though because that is an amped output.

Line out. You can buy some 1/4" TS to RCA cables or like Bastido mentioned you can get some adapters for RCA to RCA cables. This is assuming your amp is unbalanced. If your amp is balanced you can get some 1/4" TRS to XLR (or whatever your amp might have) cables.
 
You can also use the 1/8" output. In that case you would need a 1/8" TRS to RCA cable.
