Hey I just bought a reciever to my room. and i want to hear in 5.1 dolby digital. how can i do that with EMU 0404?
i connected it to the SPDIF coax to my reciever.

i use power dvd and i cant get a surround sound. when i tell him that i use SPDIF i dont hear any sound. and when i chose "2 spkeakers" i have a normal sound but not 5.1
the reciever is marantz sr-4500

Unfortunately the emu soundcards cannot pass AC3/DTS audio through it's digital outs. You'll have to use another soundcard for this.
