Okay, Imma be honest with y'all. We're undoubtedly living in the golden age of IEMs, and it takes a lot to impress me when a new one comes out. Well friends, TRITON is impressive. The build, the included accessories package, and most importantly the sound all feel like they've been refined and polished to perfection. For eighteen hundred bones (which, I guess, is considered like "low-mid flagship" nowadays?), this thing absolutely rules. Rules.

The Bloom team is cooking up a full review. But in the meantime, the best impressions I've seen posted are from my pal @vikinguy:
Build quality is excellent. These Iems are really quite beautiful. Photos don't do them justice. The shells are quite a bit smaller than Raven's and fit me very well. No discomfort at all in the time I've had them in. It's one of those "disappears in your ears" sets. The two pin connection is very stable and appears quite durable. The cable Triton comes with is very soft and supple and has a very cool Triton emblazoned at the Y split. The cable is part of the Launch Edition. You get the following exclusive items:
Blue Pandora Case. CNC aluminum and anodized in Triton Blue.
Blue Opus leather case. Handcrafted leather case in stunning blue leather with gold hardware and luxurious zipper.
Blue leather cable tie.
Gym drawstring bag
Monarch Cable.
The sound:
The Triton is a very dynamic and visceral listening experience. Bass is boosted tastefully and has an extremely satisfying mid-bass slam. The subbass also digs down deep with some serious rumble when called for. Bass response is well textured and not at all bloomy or loose. There's very little fat and the timbre is gorgeous. This all equates to a very fun and engaging listen.
Moving on to the mid-range. Male and female vocals are very balanced with not even a hint of recession. They aren't at all shouty either. Very natural and organic. Realistic would be a good word. Detail and imaging here are also on a very good/great scale. Cymbal crashes are hot but not spicy and sound as if you're in medium-sized jazz club. Upper mids are very very pleasing. No wicked peaks at 4, 5 or 6 khz. I really couldn't be more pleased with this tuning.
Treble is very well extended and I haven't gotten a hint of sibilance or harshness. Detail retrieval in the treble is very good. It's not a detail monster but I'm hearing plenty of air and sparkle and definitely don't feel I'm missing anything. It's just not right in your face. Imaging and sound stage are quite good. Triton has a relatively wide stage with good height. It will show you a 3-dimensional soundstage with some tracks. Very special.
I had high expectations for Triton and it lived up to and exceeded them in some instances. Wonderful tuning with bass that will make you smile, terrific vocals and a pleasing top end. Throw in the cool Launch edition gear and it's a very easy recommendation!
We have a few Launch Edition sets left, ready to ship. Hope everyone here has a great holiday weekend!
