Well guys, i had an opportunity to shoot some photos of my XP-7, Im putting it up for sale (look in the amps for sale forum). Ive never really seen anyone post some good photo's of the amp so i thought i would do everyone a favor. Use them as avatar's if you want

Now before i get flamed for cross-promoting, i have a legitimate question.
How much of an improvement in sound is the raptor? Also, what aspects of sound tends to evolve/change in an upgrade to the raptor (from the XP-7).

raptor is more 360ish sound, cleaner and more ""higher end""...not sure what that means cause the xp-7 is a great amp..enough not to think about the raptor!....and this is coming from a raptor owner

The swap was practically the first thing I did. The black volume knob is difficult to see from a distance in various lighting conditions for volume setting.

Funny, i thought they all shipped with silver knobs. Or perhaps thats what Ray is now doing. I received mine from him exactly as is.

I was thinking of switching my black volume knob on the ca-2 for the silver on my hr-2...just so I need to see the volume on the ca-2 more importantly..

Rhydon, what camera are you using? I really like the quality of the images.

Its a Canon Digital Rebel. I myself prefer Nikon over Canon, but it was a gift.

Can we have one or two more pics of the whole board? It basically looks like and opamp with a buffer on each channel, seems like a minimalist design. Isn't there more to it?

I bet you will hear a lot of changes with opamp rolling.

Would be interesting to see how discrete buffers would influence the sound.

I dont have any more photo's on hand, however, and i just sold the amp and shipped it today. Also, i must note that the discrete buffers are not interchangable. I posted here a while back asking the same thing.
