Have you guys seen this stuff on mcmaster.com? Looking for your thoughts if it is worth it or not.

Just do a search on "heat shrink" on the mcmaster.com website.

Probably not, just get some shielded cable to work with. Or stick some aluminum foil in there. It might be useful in terminating at certain connectors, but I don't think it really applies too much in audio
