I feel like these would be better if it weren’t for the bass quality. The overall tuning is pretty alright but I wish the bass had more impact and texture. The mids are clean too. Slightly prefer the dusk and p8 over these.

on hiby the DRX10K can add impact to bass

Just removed the filter on my Pilgrim, and...

Bass quantity has lessened and upper mids became shouty on some tracks.
Anyone have the same experience?

Planning to get 500 Mesh filter as suggested by TDF.

This is just putting a Tanchjim Oxygen filter on the nozzles easy peasy

Putting on a Oxygen filter might do very much the same for $0.20 just saying

Hey TDF, Did you place the filter over the stock one? Or did you replace it?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, I have been enjoying the Pilgrims for a while, but am looking to upgrade to an IEM in the ~$1500 range. I like the elysian sound, but am looking for a step up in instrument separation and detail. Thanks again for the help!

Elysian Apostle it you like the Elysian sound. Thieaudio LTD, Valhalla if you can stretch it a bit ask well as UM Jet Black or Maven 2.

I finally received the 4.5mm, 500-grade mesh filters from AliExpress and swapped out the stock ones on the Pilgrim. The new mesh appears noticeably denser than the stock.

According to Elysian, the inner bore size of the Pilgrim is 4.7mm, so I went with the 4.5mm filters and they fit perfectly.

As for sound impressions - the treble is slightly tamed, with a subtle dip around 5 kHz which matches TDF's measurement. The bass has more rumble, which I prefer.
