Yes because it's really good, it has an amazing synergy with Anni's treble

Yep, I mean the N30LE.

@slumberman could tell you exactly whether other DAPs are strong enough, I think.

RS8 would plenty powerful I believe, if you like the tuning. It ran Storm nicely.
My favorite with Annihilator 2023 was the P6Pro HK edition

I use this combo frequently, it's great. I find the R8II to be an all around awesome DAP

That's not how it works. It is clear that there will always be a successor. But as you wrote, it's just around the corner. I certainly couldn't find the information.
