you're talking to the wrong person then cuz Eric loves patina
heheh @Sifo knows me well :D
Either way its bound to be good leather. Untouched works fine for me.

Patina and the whole process of aging and personalisation is what distinguishes leather. 🤗 YMMV of course.
Patina is why I love leather goods, it's what makes a product into MY product :)
I don't disagree. Leather is probably the only thing where wear can turn out even better.

One day I'll get over my OCD with my gear not being pristine.

@Eric Chong I'm sure I'm not the only one who has asked about this, but are there any near-future plans for larger sized Baroque tips? Maybe 14.0mm and above? The largest size doesn't seal my ear canals, but the material is very comfy and soundwise it's fantastic.

In the final processes of testing now. April/May perhaps :)

As a former owner of Plato, Iliad and Aeneid, I couldn't help but give OTL some serious consideration as an upgrade cable for my newly acquired Amber Pearl.

Many thanks @Eric Chong for the great service, as always.

Hi guys! I’ll add my 6 cents: superb work of Sngl on Raph, grade A) I would like to torment @Eric Chong with a question - when will you add a specific connector type to Dita Project M (how is it called? AwesomePlug2? maybe someone knows on the forum...); Eletech guys, please, enhance this one to variety of the Versa set! I really want to try it so much...

Hi! I do not quite understand. Do you mean if we'll offer "Versa" type system on the terminations end?

I just received my Cassiel cable, which made it's way from Singapore to Germany in less than 3 days

So far, I'm not a "cable believer", in the sense that I have never heard an audible difference when switching cables. In all honestly, I hope I will never hear a difference, since that means I don't have another rabbit hole to spend money on, haha

The reason for me to upgrade/change cables is simple: I want something that feels and looks good, mainly going for a cable that is light and supple.

And boy, does the Cassiel deliver in that regard! It's exactly what I hoped it would be: the connectors and y-splitter look great, and the cable itself is light (and doesnt pull on my IEM's), and feels very supple. It flows!

And the earhooks... oh boy the earhooks! These are SUPER comfortable. They stay in place perfectly, without feeling stiff. I don't even feel like I'm wearing earhooks. As somone who wears glasses, these are the best

Super happy with my purchase (and now I wish I had another cable for my opther IEM...)

Thanks Eric and team for the great cable and craftmanship!

Not for me it doesn't, though Rn6 isn't exactly a sub bass monster to begin with.
Thank you, that’s why I’d like to keep the sub bass and not drown it out with mid bass, tried the FT I own and felt it did that. Mids and details were much better but mid bass bump kind of removed the occasional sub rumble and took over. I use the red module so not looking for huge sub bass just a nice rumble when called upon.

We're glad you're enjoying the Cassiel~! I'll send your compliments to the team, im sure they'll be psyched :)

Hopefully the Cassiel can change your perceptions on cables!

yes, I just went to your website out of curiosity and saw that the qdc is only standard, not Versa

Hello there, if you were inquiring about the Versa styled system for terminations;

Unfortunately we dont have plans for that in the foreseeable future. From our tests, any type of modularity done at the terminations end result in rather significant signal loss and change of signature. We havent dont enough tests to figure out why.

As 4.4mm is slowly becoming a de-facto standard, there isn't too much footwork for us to cover there.
