Eletech Cables Official Impressions & Discussions Thread

The Sonnet Of Adam is an interesting one, I wouldn't say that it's a direct replacement of either. We learn from our past releases and continue honing our craft, coupled with new inspirations to create new products. Not to mention the direct feedbacks from some trusted headfier ears to listen and fine-tune prior to any releases.

The Sonnet Of Adam, if we have to link it to past creations, I would say, takes a little from our experiences with Iliad, Raphael, Aeneid congealed into what it is. It's a different take on a flagship TOTL cable differing in direction from the Ode To Laura

Drop by our ET lounge when it's available for audition !

FitEar connectors, 4.4 mm plug please. 🙊

I'm really obsessed about the Purgatorio and Inferno these days. Been comparing back and forth with my Norne and DHC. The Purgatorio has more or less replaced my daily use of the DHC Prion4 which was unbeaten for years. Technical performance and soundstaging are off the charts!

Considering getting another DHC Chimera which was supposed to perform better than Prion4 to compare with ET Purg for the throne. @Eric Chong will you continue to work on the HP cables or is Eletech's focus mostly on IEM cables?

Hi all - Looking to pair my EE Odyssey with a new cable, and wondering if anyone has experience pairing it with Raphael, Iliad, or Socrates Project 8?

I have never owned an Eletech cable before, so a bit lost picking the best match. I'm using the SP3000 Cu to drive the Ody, if that matters. Have seen some comments that it pairs well with Ode To Laure, but that is way out of budget, unfortunately.

The very first one out of the production batch~! :)

While we are more focused on the IEM cables and accessories for IEMs. The HP (or to us, the Dante Series) will still be a core component of Eletech. We will continue to develop and improve our craft in that area. We have some ideas on how to further the line but we do not have enough time to work on it yet :)

If you can get ahold of the Iliad, i think that would be a beautiful match. Followed by Raphael. I personally do not think Socrates 8 would synergize well. Do you perhaps have the chance to try it out in your area?

Great to hear! The Inferno and Purgatorio has been excellent for me, at least in the recent years of boring HP cables releases (or lack thereof) Im eagerly looking forward to your next creation! Meanwhile, just ordered the DHC Chimera to compare with the Purgatorio. ^^

I have the Jewel paired to Raphael now. Previously was on PWA 1960. I also got the Ares S but sold it after as I find it a little lean in presentaton, Cadmus would be a little more fuller sounding.

Jewel x Raphael delivers on the lushness and weightyness of the mids and mid lows while also expanding the space width. This synergy is one that really works.
Get my Raphael today. Agree with your finding. Its lush and weighty. wow. The cable make the sound very elegence without scarifice any details. Impressive. Whereas is more powerful. Like Ares. haha. More raw.

Spending my lazy Friday here (its a public holiday cos of Presidential Elections) rotating through my portable rigs.

The TOTL combination has to be the Ode to Laura paired with the FitEar DC Ti out of the peerless LP6 Ti 7AE. :)

Friday evening listening with the much sought after Raphael. Paired with the FitEar Titan and the AK SE300 (running NOS and Class A Amp).

Lush and organic. I think those two words capture fully the essence of the synergy. :)

As I was saying to @Eric Chong , it harks back to a different era. He suggested like switching on a vinyl DSP switch. I think he is definitely onto something. Like vinyl where there is lushness and organic but yet detailed.

Glad you're enjoying the Raphael. Have it burnt in for around 70 hours and it'll further open up :)

Superceding the Raphael is something that me and the boys are fretting over =X

At this price point and with the great ergonomics, design and weight, it will be a tough ask. I reckon that for anyone looking for an organic and lush signature, the Raphael is a no brainer! :)

yeah.. the one and only. It looks like there are delays for LP7 since E7 has not even come out yet. By the looks of things, LP7 will not drop until at least H1 2024....
