Agreed with the new features on the eartips, I heard from friends who tried it at the show that they're pretty comfortable. Interested in getting the eartips too but Eric has his lips tight on launch date :xJust got back from family holidays and saw these new eartips in the thread! Boy those are some pretty innovative features right there, how soft are the eartips and does anyone who've heard this have any initial impressions on the comfort and sound yet?
Pretty sure I would want to get a pair of these eartips when they are available for sale

The Baroque eartips should be launched for purchase sometime in mid September. We brought on a set of final prototype for the HKAV show and the final production sales units are in the midst of preparation at the moment.
Rest assured that comfort will be highly satisfactory. Ergonomics and comfort was our foremost concern and we've been studying this for the past 2 years ; collating different ear canals scans and redesigning many prototypes to acheive a perfect fit. We're confident that it'll be one of the softest eartips you'll come across, you wont feel it in your ears
Sound wise, the Baroque aims to deliver a engaging lows and enhanced details through the use of material and our TRIA technology. Please look forward to it!

Selling as new Raphael in classifieds if anyone is keen to save a few coins.
Anyone tried Raphael with Aroma Jewel? I would add more mid-bass to mid-mid and note weight of Jewel without sacrifice the details and soundstage. Curretnly, I find Ares S best suit my taste in the Effect Audio range.
Something popped up in my calendar and if my administration is correct...
Happy birthday Eric!
I hope you have a great day!

If you're looking to improve note weight and midrange - lower midrange texture, the Raphael is indeed a great optionAnyone tried Raphael with Aroma Jewel? I have the Jewel paired to Raphael now. Previously was on PWA 1960. I also got the Ares S but sold it after as I find it a little lean in presentaton, Cadmus would be a little more fuller sounding.Anyone tried Raphael with Aroma Jewel? Jewel x Raphael delivers on the lushness and weightyness of the mids and mid lows while also expanding the space width. This synergy is one that really works.
oh really, I used to have Linum SuperBaX cable and tried Ares S, really like it. It's add more bass and make get more note weight.I have the Jewel paired to Raphael now. Previously was on PWA 1960. Definetly would like to add even more wieghtyness and lushness to the Jewel. That will be perfect. I guess I will try Rapheal
I used to really like Socrates and Iliad for the noteweight and signature but Raphael really did dethrone them. The amazing thing is that it's cheaper than both aforementioned...I have the Jewel paired to Raphael now. Previously was on PWA 1960. Yeah! Hence, is it any wonder the Raphael is always sold out! @Eric Chong and team have really hit this one out of the park!I used to really like Socrates and Iliad for the noteweight and signature but Raphael really did dethrone them. I still really liked the Iliad signature though, it was what got me into the Eletech rabbit hole. I wonder if the newly launched Sonnet Of Adam is a Iliad Mk 2, or perhaps Aeneid's given that both is discontinued and both are of gold materialsYeah! The Sonnet Of Adam is an interesting one, I wouldn't say that it's a direct replacement of either. We learn from our past releases and continue honing our craft, coupled with new inspirations to create new products. Not to mention the direct feedbacks from some trusted headfier ears to listen and fine-tune prior to any releases.I still really liked the Iliad signature though, it was what got me into the Eletech rabbit hole. The Sonnet Of Adam, if we have to link it to past creations, I would say, takes a little from our experiences with Iliad, Raphael, Aeneid congealed into what it is. It's a different take on a flagship TOTL cable differing in direction from the Ode To Laura
Drop by our ET lounge when it's available for audition !
