Element Technology Headquarters, Singapore, July 26th, 2022 – Eletech, a highly innovative designer & atelier of boutique high-end audiophile cables unveiled the newest offering to their famed ‘Parnassus’ flagship collection - “Ode To Laura”.
Drawing experience from “Aeneid” and “Socrates” as well as special configurations like the “Tyrian”, Eletech took the accumulation of R&D and expertise to develop an all new “Ode To Laura”, building it afresh from ground up, introducing new geometry and shielding method that has yet to be implemented before, resulting in a stunning new-gen Copper flagship.
”Ode To Laura” broke through Eletech norms and supersedes Eletech’s cable philosophy, bringing it to a whole new realm of performance with newly developed 9 Core geometry system and first 22AWG configuration to be offered within Eletech’s repertoire.
Housed within the Flagships of Eletech ‘Parnassus’, the “Ode To Laura” features a fully maxed, triple bespoke copper configuration in 22AWG geometry. Holding more than twice as much materials as a regular 24AWG GPS configuration, it is essentially an 8-wire configuration culminated into a 4-wire setup.

Since Eletech’s debut in 2019, the experienced ateliers have enjoyed widespread successes across their entire product portfolio with their unorthodox entry cables housed with “Virtues Series”, high performing reference grade “School Of Athens Series” as well as their class leading “Parnassus” series.
Eletech’s “Socrates” and “Iliad” and “Aeneid” continue to enamor and captivate the hearts of many in the audiophile community years after it’s release and remain one of the most popular SKUs within the Eletech line-up. Following the release of Aeneid, Eletech’s R&D team wanted to congeal everything they’ve developed into the essence of a “Copper Catalyst”. One that is indisputably a perfect champion for the “Parnassus Series” manifested in an Copper. Hence “Project L”, was born, which developed into the perfect rendition - “Ode To Laura”.
Background & Inspiration
Eletech “Ode To Laura” is inspired by one of the Renaissance greats - “Petrarch” and his Carzoniere, an collection of poems about a woman named Laura, whom the poet loves throughout his life but cannot be with - which made it to the epics works in the Renaissance era.
“Ode To Laura”s project initially kicked off innocently through the development of a multitude of “Copper Catalyst” that can affect the range of the frequencies. It was further shortlisted down to 3 main core catalyst that had incomparable potential. These prototypes / material catalyst were first showcased in Canjam Singapore and further on a separate Head-Fi tour to gather feedback and opinions from the Audiophile community on the direction that they were hoping Eletech would develop - a project the community fondly remembers as the “Project L”.
“Project L” quickly elevated in complexity and the immediate task at hand were to accommodate and develop the bespoke copper catalysts into one of the “Greats”. Utilizing the full resources and experience at hand, Eletech successfully developed it into the “Ode To Laura”, a flagship performance copper that is both musical, organic, lush yet accommodating an incredible sense of head space, airiness and stereo-imaging.
Design & Form Development
The Aesthetics form development of the “Ode To Laura” sports the theme of “Regalia”, “Laurels” , “Vintage” as well as “Intricacy”. Eletech specially designed this flagship hardware to sport high levels of attention-to-detail yet gives off an understated vintage overtone.
Y-Split is intricately design for a dual-layer stepped design which enhances the tactile experience while making it appear 3D-like with a coherent imagery. The outer ring of design features renaissance styled architecture while the inner base has convex projections in the form of emblems to complete the design imagery. Outer ring has been plated with aged copper and finely sandblasted to achieve and vintage aged effect.
Connector end sports a refreshed look at well to perfectly match the new hardware in theme. Featuring “Laurels” permutation in staggered alternating configuration.
The “Ode To Laura” offers a complete and luxuriant product experience in congruence with the entire “Parnassus” series.
Technology & Features
The “Ode To Laura” displays high levels of musicality, complete with a grand soundscape while exuding extreme technicalities through the blend of triple Eletech Bespoke OCC Copper housed in an Eletech’s first 22AWG configuration. Within the geometry, sports a golden ratio dispersion allowing Eletech to ultra-maximize the available spaces, packing materials to the brim while significantly reducing skin effect.
“Ode To Laura” core structure features an Eletech newly designed 9-Core geometry that allows for extra stability and enhances audible frequencies extensions. Every single core is housed with 3 uniquely developed Copper with different capabilities (α,β,γ).
The ‘α’ type copper exudes a very thick lush traditional Hifi Copper signature with a buttery smooth signature, “β” type copper offers extreme levels of technicalities and airiness while “γ” type offers a organic tone and congeals a balance between the extremities. These materials are stranded into 4 different stranding sizes to specifically target a segment of frequency response with the intended signature.
“Ode To Laura” will also feature the same OFC shielding that enjoyed great success in “Inferno” and “Tyrian” allowing for background to be quieter and details to become more apparent.
Eletech’s innovative approach in both cable design as well as the components has been very well received by the audiophile community and the “Ode To Laura” is no exception. Drawing on past experiences of product development, Eletech has further improved on the various aspects of design and endeavors to create a unique and luxuriant ‘Eletech Experience’ with the “Ode To Laura”.
