Sorry for the lack of updates 
) To apologise I'm going to tell you the cans' journey..
Headphone was received in San Francisco in good shape (new.) on time by EE, props for them. It was then hand carried from San Francisco to Taipei, and then back to my home country by a friend of mine who flies that route quite frequently. I flew from London home to receive the headphones and it sound as good as could be. My plan was to remove the wooden cups and have it laminated with high gloss by professional carpenters who made some of our furnitures. Anyway I am travelling to Singapore for now and the headphones are with me. Heading back to home country later today and back to London in 1-2 weeks. Let me tell you these are not the most travel/work friendly companion... but more on that later.
