Anyone have a chance to listen to both and compare them yet?
I know the Aeon is quite a bit cheaper, but based on what I've read they may have comparable sound signatures (neutral, good resolution, good bass) and are both closed back. Seems that while cheaper the Aeon are probably more comfortable and I'm wondering among other things if the sound quality of the Eikon justifies the increased price and lesser comfort level (not that they're uncomfortable per se). I think they're both good looking in different ways and I like both companies a lot and would be happy to support them.
These are two contenders for me to purchase as my closed cans to pair with my HE1000 v2. I'll be listening through two chains... Tidal Hifi/Roon Server->Bitfrost Multibit DAC->Wells Audio Milo for desktop use or Tidal Hifi/iPhone->Chord Mojo for portable use.
