Hello Friends:
I hope you are well.
Edifier 3000 Pro speakers come with a remote that has skip Forward (FWD) & Reverse (REV) buttons.
When I pair a DAP (e.g., FiiO M15 or Hiby R5 Gen-2) to the speakers via Bluetooth, pressing the Forward or Reverse button successfully advances to the Next or Previous track, respectively. This is good, and what I had hoped for.
So, my question is this:
If I instead attach the USB DAC output from my DAPs (FiiO M15 and Hiby R5 Gen-2) to the Edifier 3000 Pro's USB input, would the speaker's Forward or Reverse remote buttons function similarly as it does via Bluetooth connectivity -- that is, is skip Forward or Backwards supported over USB, too? Or is that just for Bluetooth connected sources?
PS: This is really a general question, not exclusive to Edifier 3000 Pro.
Thank you.
