Can i use the Echo Indigo and hook it up to the Tape In on my hi-fi to play music from my speakers?

If you can listen to your speakers through the tape-in with any other source other then the Echo, then the Echo should work as well. Test that, if it works, then you have confirmation.
No one here has your tape-in to confirm with in your setup.
