@Zaraki-san: It does look good. Now it's up to you to take one for the team and tell us how it sounds

Thanks in advance!

I've just purchased a W5000, so I will have to sell my current (Portable) amp if I do intend to do this. I'll put myy iBasso D2 Viper in the For Sale section, and if I get a good offer, sell it.

That unit actually looks really tempting. Are there any cons I'm missing out on? For the price, it seems to have all the right parts.

Free shipping from China is not common. Usually you're looking at something like $40USD.

That does look like a nice bit-o-gear for that price. The only other thing I'd want would be a toslink input.

If anyone decides to get one I'd be very interested in hearing their thoughts.

I ordered one of these a couple of days ago. From what I can tell from the hifidiy site it's a 100-piece run to celebrate the New Year. The original unit seemed to be fairly well received, so this should be interesting.

I'll post impressions when it arrives.

That's awesome, Starky. If I sell my D2 Viper, I will get one of these to see what they're like as well. I really like the idea a lot.

Gratz. I remember looking at this about month and half ago. Look forward to your impressions!

It looks very nice and free shipping is of course great. But note that a power supply isn't included!!!

Yeah that's pretty cheap, a wall wart. Shouldn't be a problem, RadioShack to the rescue or cheapos on the i-net

I looked at these a few weeks ago. They seemed like an 'okay' piece of kit, but the PCM1793 isn't a patch on the 1792/4/8 technically, which eventually turned me off.
