Hoping someone might have an opinion or have seen this amp before.

The reason I'm curious is because it says it is geared for lower impedence headphones like Grado, ATH, Sony, etc...

I couldn't seem to dig anything up on it by doing a forum search.

Wasn't this the TMS, or Timestar, or Timester, or whatever amp? I think there are some posts on it, but you may have to search under some combination of these letters/names.

As I recall there were "some issues" with it (e.g. excessive heat, or too bright, or not good with low impedence phones, or something) - it's been about 9 months, or so, since I saw something, I think.

Yes, i own TMS T200 which can power small speaker.
i use it with my K340 and it seems to be doing the job. i can't compare cause i don't have other amp to compare. but for me this is good enough.
you might want to change the volume pot though. i changed mine and the difference is quite noticeable.
