last minute bidding, sniping, whatever you want to call it, is the only way to bid on ebay. remember. always bid your max amount right toward the very close of auction.

got scammed last year so I refuse to use ebay. paypal is the greater of the two evils, but i have to use it occasionally, but otherwise i'd be boycotting paypal too. paypal needs to be hit with another class action lawsuit sometime soon so they wake their asses up.

I noticed that if I bid early, somehow the bid gets raised up to the *exact* amount I bid. This has happened three times for me.

Annoying because up until the last 10 seconds it was a low price then whoosh right up to my bid. I know that it wasn't luck on their part because my bids weren't a common number like $50.00 they were always like 61.72.
