I believe you can take it one step further and make your purchase using a credit card backed Paypal acct.

I avoid ebay altogether now, too much scams being perpetrated for both buyers and sellers. paypal isn't much of a help with many disputes either

Yeah...it's spencer. I had a thread about that auction, but the mods deleted it because they thought it was MY listing....so much for trying to warn the public about a ****** seller. That's why the new eBay rule is stupid. I bet it was deleted before it was even read that it was a warning ad, not a self posted ad....oh well.
