EBAY AT-702

good vintage purchase?

the cable looks like its been through hell a few times. but id clean these up and recable em.

I don't recall what driver technology the AT-702 is, and i can't see the end of the cable, but if it's an electret, it's probably "not bad" but i don't see the adapter box, so that's a problem.

Early A-T dynamic headphones sounded pretty awful.

Edit: oh, there it is, a TRS plug right next to the earcup. There were some electrets with built-in transformers, but, *shrug*.
