Just felt what I'm guessing is a quake and see one is listed in Berkeley. I know we have many members over there. How strong was it?

it shook my window, it was more like a jult and then it died down slowly, over in 4 seconds. it didn't even shake any of my CD's loose...

I was in San Leandro at the time and I could feel it. It shook the bookshelves but nothing fell. It was very brief.

I'm in the northwest corner of San Francisco, definitely felt a quick jolt/sway of the house for less than 5 seconds.

I'm on the border of San Jose/Los Gatos (near Leigh High School) and I saw my monitor and felt my chair given a steady vibration of a few seconds.

They reported on the radio it was a 4.2

I'm starting to get a little nervous - two earthquakes in a week, both in the east bay...

Oh well. It beats having to deal with F5 tornados (had one pass a few miles north of campus when I was at the University of Oklahoma).

Yup... I'm 6-7 miles south of you near Almaden / Camden Avenue and the house shook. I looked up and my headphones were swinging on the armrest of my PC chair.

Its good to have a bunch of small quakes in places like Bay Area, this way a big one won't build up.

i felt the second one today and it definetly rattled me more than the previous one. maybe its because i was downstairs in a basement like environment ish, or that my house is really old, but it felt like something went tumbling down my stairs.

same here. we were in the richmond district of sf pretty much the entire day and didn't feel a thing..
