Hello, this is a recommendation thread!
After listening to my trusty Earsonics SM2v2 for several years, the left bud went up and died. It was a sad evening.
Anywho...
* Preferred Type of Headphone - IEMs
* Budget - Around $200 but I can go up to 300 if necessary
* Source - My only source ATM is a OnePlus 3 phone
* Requirements for Isolation - Lots, I'll be using public transports with those
* Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yessir
* Preferred tonal balance - I like a well balanced sound. I'm not too much of a basshead but I want to be able to discern all instruments
* Past headphones - IEMs: Westone UM1, qJays, Earsonics SM2v2. I remember liking the qJays a lot until they broke, but it was a long time ago... and I've listened too much to the Earsonics to compare, of which I liked the neutral sound even though I felt the bass was lacking at times
* Preferred Music - Mostly rock music (from pop to metal)
* What would you like to improve on from your set-up - TBH I'm not sure, the Earsonics were lovely, a bit lacking at times. I think they lost a bit of their quality over the years, but since they were my primary headphones I think my ears just got used to them...
* Location - France (FR)
Thank a lot !
