Hi all,
I have a problem regarding my SM3's, the other day, the left channel stopped working. When inspecting the cable, I didn't see any problems with my untrained eyes . I sent an email to Earsonics, and they said if I sent it to them, they could fix it. ( they are not covered by warranty anymore )
I was going to send them, but I thought, I'll give it one last try, and see if I can get the left side to work again. Gently flicking the left casing, gently pulling on the cable, but no luck.
Then, I tried moving the cables at the Y joint ( the 2 cables that split off from the Y joint ), and I suddenly got sound in the left channel. If I moved the cables some more, the sound cuts in and out again.
So this must be a cable problem then?
If so, could I get it fixed locally? At a headphone store?
Or would my best bet be sending them to France to get them recabled, or whatever else is needed?
Thanks for any advice.
