Hi all,

I am looking to buy earphones for my ipod. I am almost listening only to rock music (form Rolling Stones to new indie rock bands)
Can somebody advise me some earphones, on a budget not exceeding $100

u want earphones or headphones? because if u want headphones, FWIRM (from what ive read), grados do a great job int he rock category because they are upfront sounding. so if u want some headphones under a 100, go for grados SR60 or SR80, not sure if SR80 is under a 100 tho, SR60 is for sure, SR80's not sure. but, ppl say they have some issues with the comfort, but some ppl think there very comfortable.

x2 on the grados. they arent exactly for portable use, although you could use them as such. if that kind of thing is important to you...

I think etymotic in ear headphones will be great, have mids and highs on the money. Any model, but if you get the er-6i's get it in black, so you get the L shape connector. Also you can look at sennheiser for some IEM's, they have cx series which are great, just the cords do get a little tangled, and have some microphonics. I should be getting my Klipsch Custom -3's soon. Very Excited.
