I need advice on a pair of earphones for when I'm doing cardio.

I'm not sure if I need clip ons or the in ear phones but anything rugged, cheap, and sound ok.

Really is not a good idea to excercise with phones on, but if you must..consider the KSC-75 from Koss, can be had for $9.99 sometimes on Amazon, great deal

JVC Marshmallows...that's what I use, and they work great!

when I do cardio(running) i use sennheiser mx500. Its an earbud, I dont recommend IEM because you cant hear anything else around you and your hear every footstep.

it gets kinda icky when you start sweating, but thats just my experience. But for the most my IEM stayed on, IIRC

I recommend running with over-the-ear 'phones, IEMs/canalphones/earbuds are too much hassle I think. Seconded on the above recommendation for the KSC-75.

I think it's a matter of opinion.

Every time I exercise, I am using in-ear phones. It's one of the best things about cardio.

I wouldn't wear earphones while riding my bike through the downtown area, though.

I really can't imagine not having headphones while exercising. Now, I agree that any headphones that cover the ears are terrible.
