At this point I would say no, as you don't even have a baseline on what you like or don't like.  So spending more at this point will not necessary be better for you.

I agree. Keep your budget in the $50 or maybe $100 range. Until you actually hear some IEMs, you have no basis for comparison for reading the reviews.

If you are too in the middle of everything just go for SE215. It has pretty decent sound, costs around $100 and has detachable cables. You can also buy the android compatible mic cables and use it also for your calls.

OK, I think I will go with the Vsonic GR07 MKII or BE, they will be good on my Nexus 4 without amp?
