Hi there, Ive got a simple question for you. As student, this audio hobby is very hard for me money wise, which means I have to be very careful on my equipment. Now I do not have any portable gear to write home about, but hey, it costed me all quite a bit and I would like to keep them alive!
Hence the question. The Sennheiser HD 205 uses a straight plug, which is unfortunate for listening on the go. I use a cable winder already, so that 9ft/3m cable is only 3ft/1m now (which is great to use in public).
But I am scared as hell to breakthe cable near the plug! Will such a -cheap- plug help me, or will it do sound my music worse? http://www.buyincoins.com/new_en/details/3-5mm-female-to-male-f-m-headphone-stereo-audio-extension-spring-coiled-cable-1m-product-20332.html
I cant really think of a drop in quality, I think one would need a very good headphone to hear differences, but Im not sure. Therefore the question, I hope you dont mind!
