I recently bought an Earmen Angel that was on sale. It's a truly stellar device, and in many ways, it's everything I could ask for in a portable DAC/Amp. One minor gripe I have, however, is that the bass response is just a bit too polite for my tastes. By which I mean, the bass is more fast and punchy and less deep and rumbling.
Does anybody know if there's a way to add some meatiness and rumble to the Angel via EQing? I fiddled a bit with Equalizer APO (using Peace), but I could only alter the bass tuning, not the texture.
FYI, my daily driver is the Sennheiser IE900.
