Hey All .

I have pretty much decided on acquiring an Earmax~ Pro , whilst I am really hoping to acquire one second hand I was investigating sourcing from outside the UK In ordeer to save a few £ on new and I came across the following reference to the EM ~ Silver Edition model.

http://www.tubeampdoctor.com/product...oducts_id=1148

I was aware of the Anniversary Edition however I was unaware of the SE!

I would me most grateful for any further information regarding this model .

I am wondering whether It might be worth considering the extra £220

above the cost of the Pro ( which was making my finances squeal enough as it is )

Thanks !

Essentially it's the same power supply and circuit as in the AE but it's not a ltd edition. The case is a metallic polymer, with a silver finish, and the fittings are chrome-plated and not gold-plated as in the AE.

The tubes are supposed to be not quite as good as the ones in the AE,I don't really know what's meant by that.

The price of the SE in the UK is £625

AhhhAhhhh!!!!

Thank you for that info Rob N much appreciated.

I think I shall continue with my quest for a second hand Pro unless I am lucky enough to come across an AE that doesn't necessitate PX ing of a kidney
