Early Head-Fi'er using his then-current rig.
Actually, this is a picture of my dad, taken in 1925, when he was about three years old. I was told he was listening to a crystal radio set. Though he later became a family physician, he held a lifelong fascination with all things radio and electronics, starting his WWII U.S. Army career as a radio repairman in the Signal Corps, maintaining a complete electronics workshop and Radio Shack in our home, building and repairing many electronic devices and earning an Extra-Class ham radio license.
Here's to you, dad. You started my obsession!
Best,
Joe.
