I'm thinking of picking up longboarding since it's relaxing to me and I'm in need of some earbuds with a long cord length. I guess it doesnt have to have good sound quality because it'll be a noise environment anyway. Should I just get a headphone extension cord at Radioshack or something?

yes. and pair it up with some cheap , but comfortable "earbuds" consider jvc marshmallow or ksc75 (the ksc is a clip on tho)

what is longboarding? (Just how long of a wire do you need?) The PK1 has the longest wire of all my portables, and its one of the best sounding too.

Another thing is that you could use a cable extension if the cable is not long enough for your needs.

I have found that my MEElectronics M6 work well longboarding because they go around the ear they dont get lost or tugged out much. I longboard everyday and they are always with me.
