Hey guys,

I'm looking to get some decent earbuds for use at work in the $50 range (+/- a bit, I'm flexible here). I have a pair of SE530s that I love but can't really use them at work since I hear nothing when they're in

They'll be used both with my laptop and my dap. Don't really want to use my amp with them (though that shouldn't be needed with most buds right?) I'd prefer something more towards neutral, but if there's going to be any bias I'd lean to a BIT bass-y, though nothing with TOO much bass.

Suggestions very much appreciated. Thanks!

Xears N3i may fit the bill - strong punchy bass, though fairly neutral overall.
Use the promo code KLANGFUZZIS on the Xears site to get them for 25 Euros plus shipping.

Thanks for the link! After giving it a read the 9Wave's look perfect! Does anybody know a place I can get a pair in the US? Google has been failing me miserably :frowning2:

EDIT: 9wave's not released yet, if I'm not misreading some of the other posts here? Anybody know when they'll be released? Can wait a little while to make a purchase.

I just got a pair of MEElectronics CC51P from Newegg, a screaming deal for $50 right now (normally $85).  Pretty fantastic sound for the price.  Google them, there are lots of reviews around, almost all of them very positive.  The only downside, I think, would be the in-line control which you may not want/need.
