I unfortunately have a rather greasy skin type that ends up depositing oil and skin build up on my ear pads; I've tried purchasing multiple sets of the current velour pads I use, but they are not holding up well to being washed and have started to fall apart.
I've looked into ear pad covers which are much easier to remove, however the ones I've purchased are too tight for the pair of Sony MDR-V6s I have, and basically convert the headphones to on ear instead of over ear.
Below is a picture illustrating what happens when I use the covers, in the example picture, it isn't much a problem because in that case, they're on an aircraft headset which exerts more force using the earcups and hugs your head with a considerable amount of force.
With my Sonys, there isn't enough pressure put on my head to sufficiently push my ears into the cups.
