I am having trouble encoding ogg vorbis using eac. I have put oggenc or oggenc2 (at different times) in the eac folder, set thel external encoder to point at either of these encoders and eac does not encode. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, tried two versions of eac, tried rebooting, but nothing helps. Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

Barry

fractus, thanks for the direction to ogghelp site. It did, in fact, help. For others who may have the same problem in the future, the solution was to set the encoder to "user defined" ( and not ogg vorbis), make sure that the suffix was correct (.ogg), point the program to the correct decoder in my computer, and to put the quality and other commands in the additional command line.

Using the settings that seemed the most logical (e.g, setting the encoder to ogg vorbis, just did not work.
