I stopped by for some advice about using my current setup, E9 with the E7. When combined, do the EQ settings on the E7 have any impact on the sound output? If it does, can the settings be changed on the fly or do I need to restart somewhere along the line? I'm trying to troubleshoot an problem I'm having with bass distortion (only with very bass-heavy music like drum n bass) that is made complicated by a bunch of other variables. I don't want to waste time trying to work out the correct procedure with the DAC and Amp.
 
Also, for the E7, does it make a difference to the sound if it is charging? I actually haven't noticed a difference.
 
While I'm at it, any advice for best practices for optimal sound quality with this setup?
