So I ran home during my lunch break to let the dog out and there on the doorstep was a little package....whatever could it be?!?!?!?

Got the E500PTH today from SHURE....I'll post impressions in a month or so

I'll post some pics once I get home from work today...needless to say I will spend the last few hours of work blissfully unaware of the noise in my office....unless of course I Push To Hear it!

Some pics:

The box reminds me of iPod packaging....it's heavier than you would expect.

Probably because of the handsome aluminum box that encloses the IEM. It's going to be hard not making an amp out of this

Inside the box you find a cardboard box holding the E500 and the Push To Hear unit

currently listening...mmmmmm IEM goodness.

So far, I'm impressed

I'm running them out of my iPod unamped....the isolation is excellent, we have a busy office, lots of phone call noise.



I wonder if I can wire these for balanced operation?

Ok, one negative is the fact that they only ship with one set of foamies....they're a bit big for me so I will look into smaller ones. When I get home I'll try the smaller foamies I have for the E2C I have.
