I've been looking for a high-end IEM for commuting to college next fall and the only thing keeping me from picking the e500's is the cord.

It would be great if someone could do a recable...

From what I understand this pretty much cant be done unless you go to some headphone wizard like Rlanger did. Search for his thread on transforming his E500's into customs, and thats pretty much the only way to do it friends, no easy way to do it, sorry.

I hate E500's cable, it's way too thick for its own good and just look and feel bulky to use.

Anyone know where can I get extension cable that is durable and lighter?
