E3's and why I'm not happy

I didn't like the e3cs(maybe canalphones period) because whenever I would have them in and I'd be listening to my music -- I would decide to make a small facial gesture(smile, move my ears a little bit, etc.) and they would come out of my ears. Is this common with canalphones?

PRobably wearing em too tightly.

Also, they tend to come out when you haven't worn em awhile. Give a little while for the oils in your skin to soak into (sounds gross, but true) the grey ultraflex pads and they will be much better at staying+sealing.

I would have to agree with Seijang on this matter. I too had the same problem with my e3's, but I automatically started with the smallest set of sleeves. Once I tried the mediums, I get a much better seal and they actually stay in my ears.

feenjeen: how long have you had the e3's? I know that after I burned them in more and got more used to them the bass was a lot more present and pronounced.

Well, when I had them I used the foam sleeves. I tried the rubber ones but they really didn't fit that well. They fell out easier than the foams.

Hmm...how far down into your ear do you usually wear them? I would think that the foamies are the easiest to use and get an efficient seal, then again I'm by no means an expert. How long have you been using them? I firmly believe that it takes your ears a little while to really get used to them being in there, I know that mine sure did.

the karma has the best eq, but my iriver has more bass naturally (plus a decent eq).

I would stay away from the ipod, micro, and carbon; those wont have the slam, as much (imo)
