I play drums and care much about the looks of these earphones

I need it to go really high w/o any cracks

Thanks

I can spend about 60dolalrs and I don't wan Mylarone X3 because I think it's way to cheapy/ and easy to break. (also look ugly)

I just modded my E2C's and it improved the sound 10x. On the upper range its more detailed the E4's and mid range its on par but not as impressive on the lower end. Still sounds damn good and probably one of the best deals in the low price range it has.

I got both the x3 and super.fi 3. The UE is really nice, very engaging sound signature, but bad fit. The treble on the x3 actually goes higher, but build isn't as solid.
Didn't like the e2c's much last time I heard it but congrats on your purchase.

i would recommend something that slams deeper than the um1, sf3 and e2c which are all single-drivered IEMS. Am a drummer myself and it's crucial that you're able to hear the bassist(and your own kick) through your monitor mix CLEARLY. So far these three that i've used have not been able to do it. Try a SF5, EB, or a UM2/Westone 3.
