Hey,

so i've had the e2c for a while now, but the right earpiece is starting to go on and off. the left side is fine. but i have to like jiggle the wire around to get sound out of the right hand side. i've just changed the filter and the tip but doesnt seem to have helped.

is there anything i can do or loook for to try to help solve this problem?

thanks in advanced for helping!

I had this problem on 2 e2c's and got them replaced under warranty.

The wire near the jack has cracked on the inside. Shure isn't known for their wires lol.

Best thing you can do is tape the wire in the right position if you do not have warranty, or upgrade to different earphones such as the Westone Um1s

Same thing happened to my e2c ages ago. The wires inside the cable is probably torn or something. If it is still in warranty get Shure to fix it.

I fixed mine with an electric tape. Not that it matters as I never use them any longer...

thanks!

i've also read somewhere that i should store it in the original case that it came in as not to put stress onto the wires or sth.. is that true as well?

should i even bother to attempt re-cabling them (it'd be my first time)
