Hello guys...

I think I am in real trouble here!

I have my 1212m for over 1 year now and never had a problem.

this morning I turn on my studio computer and realize something was wrong.

the volume level on the L analog out is simply very very low!!!
the R channel is just fine.. but the L is wrecked!

I then concluded this could be a problem with my mixer or monitors, because the levels on patchmix showd me that both L and R were the same.

then after running some tests with other gear I noticed that my mixer is just fine and as well as my monitors...

what should I do now?
anyone seen this problem before?

RMA is the only solution?

hope there is something I can do!!!

help me please!!!

Another thing..

I also checked if this could be a cable issue but the cables are just fine!

I had the same problem a while back - I contacted creative and after a bit of debugging they asked me to send the analogue card back and they sent me a new one.

They were very nice about it and it was no problem.

This happened with both my 1212M and 0404 cards (it was the left channel in one and the right in the other). Each time there was nothing I could do but send them to Creative for replacement (both outside warrently as well...grumble). It was probably just bad luck but I'm not thinking too highly of Creative's build quality concerning their E-MU cards right now.
