It looks like the 0204 USB has W7 compatible drivers.
 
As there aren't updates available yet, if anyone has this product, could you check if it's drivers are still same or are those made by some other company? You can download driver for those older models from Creative/E-MU support (BTW, I couldn't find E-MU home site anymore) .

Creative mentions that 0204 comes with a final driver that's more up to date than the beta available for 0202 and 0404, being fully compatible with Windows 7.
 
I'm not sure the version numbers you're talking about, but there are still 1.30.07 drivers that were made for Vista and are also compatible with Windows 7, as well as the latest 1.40.00 beta drivers that are meant to be used with Windows 7 and backwards compatible with Vista and XP. Unfortunately I can't recall the exact version number of the 0204 driver supplied with the product, but I think it's not compatible with other models like 0202 and 0404.

Yes, I saw those 1.30.07 drivers there (Release date : 25 Jul 11 ). I couldn't find information over if these are W7 compatible (min. system requirement is XP - Vista 32/64 and on W7 compatibility chart they mentioned beta driver.
 
Actually, I was thinking if the ASIO driver found in 0204 installation is compatible and been updated from 1.30.07/1.40.00beta.
 
Yes, looks like Creative has renewed the E-MU site ... just wondering why those archived models are listed there ?

The beta drivers are for interfaces other than 0204, while it has a fully compatible Windows 7 driver.
 
I'm not sure on updates to the ASIO driver, as there is no specific mention of that, mainly SPDIF improvements.
 
And why wouldn't older products be there? They're still being used by quite some people, so support is very welcome IMO
