      i cant seem to find anything on the new monoprice 50 mm headphone-product#10243. has anyone tried these yet? they cost over 2x the dj headphone-54usd. i was just wondering if anyone knows anything about them yet.they look a little like the klipsch image one or the p3.

I was looking into this a few days ago myself.

I think I found the manufacturer: Bluedio

The only post on Head-Fi for these I found sounded like an ad.

The Monoprice 10243 and 10244 seem to be Model R2-WH.

The Monoprice 10245 and 10246 seem to be Model R. There is a newer model with BT 4.0 and NFC but MP only mentions BT 3.0.

There are a couple of threads around that discuss the issue of multiple drivers in a headset:

I'm still digesting what's there.

There are a few reviews on Amazon for the Model R

on another thread they are saying that these are identical to monster inspiration,same driver,same tweeter.

I thought it may have been Monster Inspiration - but I couldn't find much spec info on them.
