Anyone here have a digital vernier caliper?
Was thinking if there are tiny thumb screws that can replace the Torx #3 ones for easier amp swapping.
I like that idea! Although it would require modifying the case or keeping it outside of the case.

The ddHifi cz180 fits the dx340 and one set of iem's plus some tips, perfectly. It came with some dividers which I attached to the sides and bottom to create a perfect fit all the way around..

But the real surprise for me was the larger ddHifi cz300. A fantastic great quality case for the iem collection

You can fit the DX340 with it's leather case too if you can manipulate some of the dividers even further.

Great case.

Yea, I'm not a fan of the stock case it comes with (the color), so ordered a black leather one. Maybe I'll remove the dividers once that case arrives.

I did order a second cz300, that is really awesome for iem's

Any others within my price range with good DX340 synergy I should look into?
Used Noble Kublai Khan. Highly resolving, not too much bass.

iBasso DX340 Debloating & Tweaking Guides

Hi all, version v5.0 is live. Please check the release notes for all changes and additional options.

Bit of background: as a follow up to this post, I spent some time testing different values for scaling_min_freq for the "big" CPU cluster. The optimal value seems to be 1401.6 MHz (significantly reduces number of so called "frequency transitions" during playback).

So, in this version I introduce a new option to get absolute maximum performance out of the DX340. Option pmax=1 (aka "Performance MAX") replaces the previous option noidle=1. In addition to disabling "Doze mode" (deviceidle), the minimum scaling frequency is increased from 1056.0 MHz to 1401.6 MHz. This may cause "Performance MAX" to have an impact on battery life (although results may vary).

Enjoy the improvements!

BTW Special thanks to @quaddac and @Whitigir for the many hours of testing!

Awesome work as usual @Stouthart! I can't wait to find some time to sit down and finally try out your tweaks.
